Overview of OnPart

Established in 1886 (just kidding, it was 2014) in a dealership in the middle of Iowa. Born from the need to connect to the collision platforms and with the desire to sell more parts into the collision indusrtry, OnPart quickly realized that we could help others do the same so we quickly pivoted to offering the service of connecting. Since that one connection, we have expanded beyond that one connection to the industries leading tool to connect and get reporting on the collision industry.

What we are: A Digital & Centralized Parts Warehouse

At its core, OnPart is designed to help collision platforms connect parts suppliers to their systems so they can efficently bring those with collision parts together with body shops. It starts with a centralized warehouse (or database) that aggregates parts information from various suppliers:

  • Recyclers: Used or refurbished parts.
  • Aftermarket Suppliers: Non-OEM parts at competitive prices.
  • OEMs: Original parts from manufacturers.
Connected to who? The Collision Industry Leading Platforms

OnParts integrates with platforms like CCC and PartsTrader, which are commonly used by collision shops. This allows shops to:

  • Submit parts requests: Directly through the platforms they already use.
  • Receive quotes from OnParts alongside other suppliers, making it easy to choose the best option.
Unique Aspects: Search and Filter Functionality

Body shops use one of the top 6 collision platforms to connect with and search for parts based on their criteria like:

  • Vehicle VIN or make/model/year.
  • Part type or description.
  • Pricing and supplier preferences.

Exclusive Aspects: Market Insights and Reporting

For suppliers and shops, OnParts provides analytics and reporting tools:

  • Shops: Track orders, compare supplier performance, and analyze costs.
  • Suppliers: Gain insights into demand trends, competitive pricing, and customer preferences.

Unlike others, we offer Support and Scalability

OnParts includes built-in support features, such as:

  • Live Chat or Ticketing System: Quick assistance for users.
  • Scalability: As the platform grows, it can handle larger supplier networks, additional features (like billing integration), and expanded markets.

Looking to sell more collision parts?
Let OnPart walk you through the steps to get started:

1. Define Delivery Area

Local, regional, or National delivery. You may have a mix of a few, like Local delivery for larger parts and national for shipping; we set up a profile based on the largest aspect of your profile.

2. Determine Part-Types

Used OE, Opt-OE, New OE, Aftermarket, and more. We can work with any part type. Just note, not every part time works with every collision platform. So, what you have to sell will determine what platform we can set up for you.

3. Associate OE Part Numbers

This may seem obvious for some, but you MUST have the OE number matching the part you are selling. Every collision platform connection requires it.

4. Drop into Template

Drop your inventory into our template or export from your system into a template like ours and we can get you connected. You can get all the templates here

5. Contracts

Our contract located here, once filed out we can get the ball rolling.

6. Schedule Go Live & Sales

Training and Go Live to get the sales going.
