Is your catalog actually sellable?
You're not losing parts you don't sell — you're losing parts you do. Ten checks on the three things that decide it: the right part, the right number, the right price.
What the platforms require
Miss one of these and you're filtered out before a shop ever sees your price.
- Do your part numbers map to OE numbers — not just your internal SKUs?
- Is shipping included in your displayed price?
- Is your delivery area defined by drive time, not just a list of zips?
- Is every part tagged by type — OE, Opt-OE, aftermarket, CAPA, recycled?
What the market rewards
These decide whether you win the quotes you're already eligible for.
- Are your availability and pricing live, or a nightly file that's stale by 10am?
- Does your price move when your cost moves — or once a quarter?
- Does one named person review quote-to-order conversion every week?
- Do you know which parts are actually in demand in your territory — before you stock them?
- Would your images and descriptions win a side-by-side against the supplier listed next to you?
- Can you name the shops quoting you — and the ones who never see you?
8–10 CHECKED — You're leaving less on the table than most.
5–7 CHECKED — You're visible, but not competitive.
UNDER 5 — You're being filtered out before shops ever see your price.
